Ciao a tutti - hello everyone:
Antica is open for just three more weekends this August before Paolo relocates to a 1,000 year old Benedictine Monastery in the hilltop village of Veroli to host three separate gourmet & cycling tour groups with more than 40 guests for the entire month of September. He is pretty excited to share Ciociaria with everyone, it is one of Italy’s lesser-known regions and is definitely off the beaten path.
Kelly will be heading into radiation treatment here in Australia - so it’s not hard to guess who will be having more fun!
Antica Australis in Carcoar will be closed from 24 August as Paolo jets off and we will re-open from Saturday 19 October 2024. Reservations will remain open, so if you are planning a visit to Carcoar in Spring please feel free to send through requests.
In the meantime, there is very limited availability for the remainder of August - just a few tables left for Saturday 3 August or Sunday 11 August at 1pm. And that’s it!

PS: A huge heartfelt thank you to everyone who has sent us messages of support over the last few months. It’s been truly heartwarming. Thank you to all of our guests supporting Ruby in her new front-of-house role too - it has been glorious to watch her take on so much responsibility and blossom and has been a very welcome silver lining in this whole experience.
We have also recently welcomed Amara (photo below) to the Antica Carcoar team, another fantastic young local village girl who is already stepping up to the plate. She is also enthusiastically embracing her additional role as Chief Taste Tester.

WILD HEART OF ITALY GOURMET & CULTURAL TRAVEL EXPERIENCES:
Follow us off the beaten path and into the Wild Heart of Italy - to Paolo’s home region of Ciociaria, just one hour south of Rome (but a whole world away).
If you would like to join us, we are hosting small groups (max. 12) in both May & September in 2025. A couple of places have become available for each of the tour dates, so jump in!

We have partnered with award-winning Australian cycling tour company, Bespoke Cycle Tours, to offer a hand-picked and tailored cycling itinerary along little known scenic routes in Ciociaria - with quite a few gourmet and wine stops along the way.
