Antica Australis in Carcoar was always meant to be simply an extraordinary moment in time... and that time is now.

Hello everyone - we have some news to share and we very much wanted our most treasured guests on this list to be first to hear.
The lease on our 1927 haberdashery store in Carcoar is now up, and we have decided not to renew. We will be taking 12 months off from running a restaurant full-time and embarking on new life adventures in Italy at the end of this year.
Antica Australis in Carcoar will re-open from Saturday 19 October - and we will close our doors forever on Sunday 17 November 2024.
We have managed to extend our lease a little to celebrate Antica in Carcoar with you for one last time on Paolo’s return from hosting tours in his home region of Ciociaria.
There will be FIVE FABULOUS WEEKENDS to join us and say goodbye from Saturday 19 October to Sunday 17 November 2024.
We will be open for Saturday lunch & dinner and Sunday lunch dining sessions. We can also open on Friday evenings for private groups (minimum 10) on request.
We have opened reservations as a priority to everyone on this list before we make the news public.
From 2025 we will be focusing on our Antica Travel Co. brand and hosting more cultural travel experiences throughout Paolo’s home region of Ciociaria and beyond.
The Antica Australis cultural dining experiences will continue to live on as a pop-up during the Ras Al Khaimah Art 2025 Festival, held at the breath-takingly beautiful 16th Century Emirati pearling village of Al Jazeera Al Hamra in February 2025.
We hope you can join us for one last Ciociarian cultural dining experience in Carcoar this October & November!

A NOTE ON ANTICA CARCOAR GIFT VOUCHERS
We have spent the last 18 months making sure as many Antica gift vouchers as possible were redeemed. We have had an active reminder program being sent out to gift voucher holders, and we are proud to say that there are only EIGHT VOUCHERS still outstanding!
If you are one of the lucky final Antica gift voucher holders, please get in touch with us if you are unable to use your voucher in our final five weeks, as we will be happy to refund you. Please note that you will need to contact us before we close on 17 November 2024.
